Emergency First Aid At Work
Our one-day Emergency First Aid at Work training fulfil the requirements of the HSE. This course is designed for people who want to receive training in emergency first aid and is especially suited for nominated first aiders in smaller, low risk working environments.
The Emergency First Aid at Work course meets the standards required to help comply with Health and Safety (First aid) regulations.
The course trains individuals to:
- Assess and prioritise a first aid incident
- Deal with an unconscious casualty
- Carry out resuscitation on an unconscious casualty and use of AED
- Control bleeding and manage shock
- Be able to recognise and deal with a wide range of common injury
Price includes:
Professional Instruction and all course materials. Upon successful completion of the course, the delegate will receive their certificate which is for valid 3 years.
Maximum delegate to trainer ratio: 12:1
Assessment:
Assessment is undertaken through observation, together with practical exercises.
