Fire Extinguisher Training

Our fire extinguisher training covers basic training in the handling of portable fire extinguishers. We give hands on training to your staff in safely tackling small fires using portable fire extinguishers in a controlled environment.

The theory of combustion will be explained to your staff. They will be trained in identifying the many different classes of fires and the correct extinguishers to use on each of them, including fire blankets. We will also give an explanation as to the limitations of extinguishers.

Your staff will also be made aware of the do’s and don’ts of fighting fires. Fire Extinguisher Training course will be held at your premises thereby keeping employee down time to a minimum.

This interactive and practical course is delivered by professional trainers using progressive, realistic, hands-on training, delegates will develop confidence with their new skills.  This confidence will allow the delegate to apply their knowledge to respond promptly, safely, and effectively in the event of an emergency at work.

This course includes a ‘hands on’ practical session on the safe use of fire extinguishers using environmentally friendly fire simulators – delegates use real extinguishers on real fires in a safe and controlled environment at no extra cost.  The fires are created and controlled by the trainer at all times, keeping your staff safe in training.
